Bringing together two distinct works, Naeem Mohaiemen: There Is No Last Man imagines a relationship between two lonely narrators, each trapped at the edge of history.
In addition to these stellar objects, the exhibition displays photographs, drawings, prints, and sculptures by the artist’s friends and contemporaries, such as Claude Monet and Henri Matisse.

Art Design Chicago is a spirited celebration of the unique and vital role Chicago plays as America’s crossroads of creativity and commerce. Led by the Terra Foundation for American Art, this citywide partnership of cultural organizations explores Chicago’s art and design legacy with more than 25 exhibitions and hundreds of events in 2018.
This major exhibition, held once every three years, looks to highlight young, international artists working in a variety of media. Works for the show were selected by New Museum curator Gary Carrion-Murayari and Alex Gartenfeld, who is deputy director and chief curator at the Institute for Contemporary Art in Miami.

The McFerrin Fabergé Collection will be presented in a new state-of-the-art gallery in the Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals. This new gallery is made possible by the generous underwriting of the Artie and Dorothy McFerrin Foundation.
The first installation in the gallery is the new special exhibition Fabergé: Royal Gifts featuring the Trellis Egg Surprise. Visitors will experience the design artistry and craftsmanship of the Fabergé workmasters in an intimate setting.
